چکیده
In practice, there is no guarantee that the assumptions are satisfied for any given data set. From the summary statistics, such as SSR, SSRes, t-and F -test statistics or R it can be very hard (or impossible) to tell whether the assumptions are satisfied or violated. Thus we need other numerical or graphical methods to check the assumptions. The linearity is most often simply checked with scatter plots in which you look for obvious non-linear relationships between any of the predictor variables and the response. The remaining assumptions concentrate on the model residuals.

Motivated Forgetting in Early Mathematics: A Proof-of-Concept Study
Educators assume that students are motivated to retain what they are taught. Yet, students commonly report that they forget most of what they learn, especially in mathematics. In the current study I ask whether students may be motivated to forget mathematics because of academic experiences threaten the self-perceptions they are committed to maintaining. Using a large dataset of 1st and 2nd grad...

متن کاملThe Tau-Collocation Method for Solving Nonlinear Integro-Differential Equations and Application of a Population Model
This paper presents a computational technique that called Tau-collocation method for the developed solution of non-linear integro-differential equations which involves a population model. To do this, the nonlinear integro-differential equations are transformed into a system of linear algebraic equations in matrix form without interpolation of non-poly-nomial terms of equations. Then, using coll...
متن کامل$(varphi_1, varphi_2)$-variational principle
In this paper we prove that if $X $ is a Banach space, then for every lower semi-continuous bounded below function $f, $ there exists a $left(varphi_1, varphi_2right)$-convex function $g, $ with arbitrarily small norm, such that $f + g $ attains its strong minimum on $X. $ This result extends some of the well-known varitional principles as that of Ekeland [On the variational principle, J. Ma...
